Embracing Exile

Like the Israelites in Babylon, Christians today may feel they are in unfamiliar territory, surrounded by a culture with customs and practices foreign to their faith.

Embracing Exile is a 7-week study, led by Dr. Scott Daniels, that will help your congregation discover what faithfulness looks like even when the surrounding culture does not affirm Christ as Lord.

It's an unsettling time, but it's not a hopeless time.

What's in the Church Planning Kit?

  • Sermon videos, sermon outlines, and short, sermon-planning videos featuring Scott Daniels.
  • Weekly email messages to be used by leaders of small groups and faith communities.
  • Video interviews between Scott Daniels and church leaders on the central topics of Embracing Exile.
  • Promotional artwork and video to help get your faith community excited about studying Embracing Exile.
  • Seven short video sessions and leader's guide for small group or Sunday school use.
  • Family discussion guides designed to help church families have meaningful discussions with their children based on each week's sermon.

Inspire your faith community.

Gather together and dream about what it means to live faithfully as God's unique people in the world.
